ASP's Summer Teacher Institute at Salem State College
August 10-14, 2009

"For I am slow of study..."
--Snug, A Midsummer Night's Dream

"I LOVED THE ENTIRE PROGRAM. I FELT THAT IT OPENED UP MY TEACHING WITH NEW TOOLS AND WAS AN INCREDIBLE GIFT."  ~ past Teacher Institute participant

Breathe life into Shakespeare with your students. ASP's immediate approach includes workshops in text, movement, voice, acting and directing led by ASP artist teachers. Approach the play as an actor, director, scholar and audience member and come away with a fresh set of tools and activities for use in the classroom. Work closely with ASP artists, a curriculum specialist and colleagues from varied settings to craft a personalized curriculum for your students. Our play this summer is A Midsummer Night's Dream.
