Summer Shakespeare Workout!
Weekend Intensive
with Jennie Israel & Mara Sidmore

Come work out the Bard with two of ASP's Resident Acting Company Members and teaching artists.

Delve into Shakespeare’s text with your voice, body and breath through an intensive 16-hour scene study. You’ll explore both a monologue and a scene from Shakespeare’s plays, in depth, through a hands-on, multifaceted approach designed to unlock your most authentic performance. We’ll cover technical tools such as scansion, poetic devices, and line endings, in addition to the fundamental art of scene work: connecting truthfully to your scene partner and your audience through the text.

Saturday: 9am-5pm
Sunday: 10am-3pm with 4pm Scene Sharing

Cost: $800
