Internships

Actors' Shakespeare Project internships offer hands-on experience and a glimpse into what it takes to run a professional theater company. Interns are exposed to every aspect of theater management from rehearsals and production to marketing and community outreach.

Our interns become vital members of our community, gain practical experience and are encouraged to explore various aspects of theater management and production.

We offer flexible internships with each department of our company. Applicants should be passionate about the arts and eager to learn the strings and contribute to our ever-expanding theater company.

ASP offers the following internships on a semester or show by show basis:

Theater production
Artistic operations
Stage management
Design
Development/fundraising
Marketing
Event planning
Education/advocacy
Directing

In your cover letter please be sure to explain why you are applying for an internship with our company, what goals you would like to accomplish as an ASP intern and what your long term career goals are. Please also mention if you are looking for an internship for school credit.

NOTE: ASP is closed the month of July and does not accept interns over the summer.
