Shakespeare's Solstice: Celebrating ASP's new Artistic Director, June 22

On Thursday, June 22, we will hold a special event on the rooftop terrace of the deCordova Museum to publicly announce and welcome our new AD to the ASP community. R.S.V.P. by June 15!

FREE: "I Am Lear," June 25

A devised piece exploring aging, inspired by Shakespeare’s "King Lear." Tickets free, but seating limited, so R.S.V.P. required.

Summer Youth Intensive, July 5 – 30

For our seventh annual Summer Youth Intensive, ASP youth will create, design, rehearse, and perform a full-length production of this deliciously wicked historical tragedy, featuring one of Shakespeare’s most memorable villains, and which is part of our 2017-18 Season. Public performances are the culmination of a month-long intensive collaboration among teens from a variety of Boston-area communities.

Youth production of Titus Andronicus, March 30 - April 8

A Co-Production with the Charlestown Working Theater Advanced Youth Ensemble. Our combined youth ensemble will tackle the dark savagery of Shakespeare’s early revenge tragedy, set in a decadent Rome following war with the Goths. Mature themes.

Discussions with cast members follow each Sunday matinee. Some shows will feature panels with special guests to engage in a conversation on relevant themes or our unique artistic approach.
