ASP receives 2013 Shakespeare for a New Generation grant

The National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest presents Shakespeare for a New Generation. Actors' Shakespeare Project is one of 40 professional theater compaines selected to participate in Shakespeare for a New Generation, bringing the finest productions of Shakespeare to middle- and high-school students in communities across the United States.

ASP, Along With Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Somerville Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone, Announce Plans for ASP's 10th Anniversary Season

Today, Mayor Thomas M. Menino hosted Somerville Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) in the Eagle Room at Boston City Hall to announce ASP's 10th anniversary season. Mayor Menino announced that ASP will kick off their 10th anniversary with a production of Romeo and Juliet in fall 2013, staged at Boston's Strand Theatre in Dorchester.
