Come enjoy this musical & theatrical event!

When: This Friday, May 13, 2016 at 8 p.m.

Where: First Church, Cambridge

What: Join ASP and the Boston Choral Ensemble as we celebrate the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare (1564-1616) with a concert of works on texts from his plays.

Excerpts include speeches from The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, (both in our 2016-17 Season!) and the famous “Serenade to Music” (from The Merchant of Venice) set to music by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The concert will include works by Jaakko Mäntyjävri and Frank Martin, and the BCE will give the world premiere of Neither rhyme nor reason by Greg Brown.
