FEBRUARY BREAKSPEARE 2025

HAMLET

by William Shakespeare (In a 30-minute adaptation by Jen Taschereau*)

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18 – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21

Our young actors will explore and rehearse an abbreviated Hamlet, traveling to a haunted castle in Denmark as they take on the characters and elements of design. Get ready for a tale of revenge and intrigue, and of course those famous words “To be or not to be …”!

The week will culminate with a performance on Friday.

APRIL BREAKSPEARE 2025

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

TUESDAY, APRIL 22 – FRIDAY, APRIL 25

Our young actors will explore and rehearse an abbreviated Midsummer, journeying deep into an enchanted forest as they take on the characters and elements of design. Best friends and enemies, fairy kings and queens, a lovable band of amateur actors, and Shakespeare’s most famous donkey – you won’t want to miss it!

The week will culminate with a performance on Friday.
