FEBRUARY BREAKSPEARE 2024

JULIUS CAESAR

by William Shakespeare

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20 – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23

Our young actors will explore and rehearse an abbreviated Julius Caesar, traveling back to the Roman Empire as they take on the characters and elements of design. Don your nearest toga and get ready for a tale of intrigue (with hints of the supernatural)!

The week will culminate with a performance on Friday.

Please note: This project will overlap with rehearsals for our teen production of the same title. Participants will be invited to take on small roles in the older ensemble if they so desire after getting to know the story in February Breakspeare!

APRIL BREAKSPEARE 2024

ROMEO AND JULIET

by William Shakespeare

TUESDAY, APRIL 16 – FRIDAY, APRIL 19

Our young actors will explore and rehearse an abbreviated Romeo and Juliet, journeying to Shakespeare’s Verona as they take on the characters and elements of design. Family feuds and star-crossed lovers – you won’t want to miss it!

The week will culminate with a performance on Friday.

Please note: Any returning participants from our Spring 2022 Romeo and Juliet camp will be guaranteed a different role, as we explore the play anew alongside ASP’s professional production of the title. All participants and their families will receive discounted tickets to ASP’s mainstage Romeo and Juliet in May 2024.
