The first Tuesday after Thanksgiving marks a global day of giving. In the midst of turkey leftovers and holiday shopping, #GivingTuesday provides an opportunity to reflect and give back during the holiday season.

This #GivingTuesday, we hope you will consider giving to Actors’ Shakespeare Project. We work year round to bring Shakespeare into the lives of those in our community, and we need your help!

This year, ASP will kick off our Annual Holiday Challenge with a #GivingTuesday Patron Challenge. Every person that we reach has equal impact to us, and to highlight this, we hope to expand our reach further into our community. For the first day of the campaign, we challenge our audiences to find 1,000 first-time donors to each donate $10.

The impact of those small individual gifts would bring us into the Holiday Challenge with $10,000, no small feat!

$10,000 goes a long way. It would allow us to:

Cover the salaries of the actors in Nat Turner in Jerusalem
– or –
Cover the cost of subsidized tickets for 240 students to a matinee of Twelfth Night (One sold out house!)
– or –
Cover the cost of a five week residency in one Boston Public School

In order to reach this goal, we need your help! Encourage those in your community to check out the work that we do, and to donate $10 to our cause!

ASP’s Annual Holiday Challenge

The 15th anniversary is symbolized through gifts of crystal. Crystal represents clear and sparkling love, reflective of the time you’ve had and plan to have together in a relationship. It’s both retrospective and forward looking. In the midst of our 15th season, we find ourselves reflecting on the individuals, communities and partners that have come alongside us. And we are looking forward to what the next 15 years have in store. This journey would not have been possible without YOU. We owe you a debt of gratitude for helping us create theatre and education projects that change lives and have a lasting impact on the city of Boston and beyond. We are blessed to have your ongoing relationship with Actors’ Shakespeare Project.

Your generosity this year will be pooled with gifts from our gracious Board of Directors to help us reach our $125,000 goal.
